30th Anniversary Special Exhibition, Part 2: "Taking on the Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido! ~Kodo's Journey in Search of Material for Historical Novels~"

Three special exhibitions have been selected from those held over the 30 years since the museum opened and will be reorganized and displayed over three periods.
The second period will feature Utagawa Hiroshige's "Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido" (cursive calligraphy version), which was exhibited at the beginning of the museum's opening and on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. Due to exhibition space limitations, it is not possible to display all 55 prints of "Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido" at once, and so the exhibits will be rotated three times during the exhibition period.
We also introduce works by Kodo that were inspired by the Tokaido.
Please come visit us again and again.
