Nomura Kodō & Araebisu Memorial Museum Special Exhibition: "Original Illustrations by Kobayashi Hidetoshi – From Nomura Kodō's 'Townspeople with Ten Thousand Koku'" [Currently being prepared! Opening November 10th]

Kodō Nomura carefully preserved the original illustrations for his works, and his collection numbered in the hundreds.

This exhibition will feature original illustrations from Kodō's long-running historical novel, "Chōnin Jūman-goku," which was serialized in the Hōchi Shimbun newspaper.

The works of Hidetsune Kobayashi, a short-lived illustrator who enjoyed immense popularity in the early Showa period.
