Edo-style string puppetry Yuki-za and Morioka Exhibition

The Yuki-za Edo-style string puppet theater troupe has had a deep connection with Morioka since evacuating there in 1945, at the end of World War II, about 80 years ago. This exhibition introduces the history of the Yuki-za troupe, which has ties to Morioka, and explains the mechanisms of their puppets. Please come and see it.
