MACHIYART2026 Eninaru Morioka Related Event: <Artwork Production Workshop>
Eninaru Morioka is seeking paintings, prints, and photographs that represent Morioka. For the first time, we are holding workshops designed to help you create artwork with the goal of exhibiting at Eninaru Morioka. Why not participate in the workshop and submit a painting, photograph, or other artwork that represents Morioka?
[Course Content]
Eligibility: Residents of Iwate Prefecture who are willing to exhibit their products at Eninaru Morioka.
<Photography Course>
Dates: September 7th (Mon), September 28th (Mon) *Two sessions. Both sessions are from 13:30 to 15:30.
Location: Photo shoot at Morioka Machiya Monogatari-kan Hamato Hall and the Nataya-cho area.
Participation fee: 2,000 yen + insurance fee of 800 yen (collected on the first day)
Capacity: 10 people
Target: Open to all
Items to bring: Camera, writing utensils

<Painting Class>
Dates: September 3rd (Thu), September 10th (Thu), September 17th (Thu)
*This is a three-part course. Each session is from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Location: Morioka Machiya Monogatari-kan Main House 1st Floor Community Space DOMA
Participation fee: 3,000 yen + insurance fee of 800 yen (collected on the first day)
Capacity: 10 people
Target: Open to all
What to bring: A complete set of painting supplies (watercolor, acrylics, oil paints, pastels, colored pencils, etc. – any art materials you like), writing utensils.

<Framing Workshop>
Date and Time: Sunday, October 4th ① 10:00-12:00 ② 13:30-15:30 *The same content will be presented twice.
Location: Morioka Machiya Monogatari-kan Main House 1st Floor Community Space DOMA
Participation fee: 1,500 yen + insurance fee of 800 yen (collected on the first day) *Frame fee of approximately 5,000 yen will be charged separately.
Capacity: 4 people per session
Target audience: Elementary school students and older
Items to bring: Artwork smaller than 24 x 30 cm (eighth-cut size frame) *Up to the thickness of cardboard.
Mechanical pencil, eraser, 30cm ruler
