Miyazawa Kenji Ihatov Museum Special Exhibition: "Miyazawa Kenji Fairy Tale Forest Photo Exhibition"
We are currently hosting a photo exhibition titled "The Forest of Kenji Miyazawa's Fairy Tales," curated by Masasuke Abe, a resident of Hanamaki City.
The area around Koshioyama, where the Kenji Miyazawa Memorial Museum and the Kenji Miyazawa Ihatov Museum are located, has been developed as the "Kenji Miyazawa Fairy Tale Forest," with walking trails, a southern slope flower garden, a sundial flower garden, and a fairy tale village.
Ms. Abe has been taking photographs of plants and insects to observe nature around this fairy tale forest. The fairy tale forest is an ideal Ihatov world for plants and insects as well. Many plants and insects appear in Kenji Miyazawa's works, so why not experience Kenji's world while observing nature?
