Araebisu Relay Concert [Applications for piano performance and attendance are now being accepted] [Concert has ended]

A piano concert created by general participants and volunteers from Tokyo University of the Arts.

We are looking for participants for the "Araebisu Relay Concert"!
.
With the wish to make piano more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, the "Araebisu Relay Concert," a collaborative project between Professor Arimori of Tokyo University of the Arts and the Nomura Kodō/Araebisu Memorial Museum, is a piano concert in which piano students and performers from within and outside the prefecture pass the baton of music to the members of the Instrumental Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts.

Date and time | Saturday, March 14, 2020, 1:30 p.m.
Admission fee: 1,000 yen. Capacity: First 80 people. To apply: Please call the memorial hall at 019-676-6896.

*When applying, please specify either "Application for viewing" or "Application for piano participation in Part 1."

Part 1 | 1:30 PM onwards (approximately 1 hour)
A performance by participants from within the prefecture, all in the fourth grade or above.

Part 2 | 3:00 PM onwards (approximately 2 hours / with breaks)
A performance by students from the Instrumental Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts.

Tokyo University of the Arts performance program ♪ Ravel's "Miroirs" – Alborada del Gracioso

♪ Rachmaninoff Prelude "The Bells" in C-sharp minor, Op. 3-2

♪Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 2 in C minor, Op. 17 "Little Russian" (composer's version for one piano and four hands), and other pieces are planned.

Price 1,000 yen per person for everyone.
