Calligraphy event at a traditional townhouse

Date and time: Saturday, January 10, 2026, 14:00-17:00 (last entry 16:30)
*The session will end as soon as those who have finished writing have finished. Please arrive within the allotted time.
Venue: Morioka Machiya Monogatarikan Hamato Hall
Participation fee: 500 yen per person
Target: Elementary school students and above
Capacity: Approximately 15 people
What to bring: Calligraphy tools (paper will be provided by the museum) *Limited quantities available for loan
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
How to apply: Applications open from 10:00 on Friday, December 19th until 18:30 on Friday, December 26th.
*Closed on Tuesday, December 23rd.
