20th Tono Citizens' Arts Festival
The Tono Citizens' Art Festival is a major event that colors Tono in autumn.
This year, from November 2nd (Sunday) to November 3rd (Monday, national holiday), we will be holding a joint stage performance, general exhibition, joint tea ceremony (only on the 3rd), and chrysanthemum exhibition (starting from the 1st).
The attraction at the opening ceremony will be a calligraphy recitation by calligrapher Shumoe Arata and the Tono Gin'ei Association. Be sure to take a look at the calligraphy being written in sync with the poetry recitation.
This year too, we would like you to come to the venue to see the results of the citizens' activities over the past year.
We have also set up an experience corner so that everyone, from small children to adults, can easily experience art and culture. You can try flower arranging, musical instruments, tanka poetry, and senryu poetry. Please feel free to join us.
