Special lecture at the Museum of Historical Sites: "When spiral patterns were drawn on pottery – The Jomon world of Hachinohe"

The Ruins Learning Center will be holding a special lecture, "When spiral patterns were drawn on pottery – The Jomon world of Hachinohe," as part of the 2025 themed exhibition, "Tracing patterns – Lines and shapes carved into Jomon pottery ."
Mr. Takeo Ichikawa, curator at the Hachinohe City Museum, will give a lecture on the Jomon culture in the Hachinohe area around the middle of the Jomon period, when Jomon pottery, particularly the many spiral patterns, was featured.
