Araebisu Writing Course *Essay Course [Ended]

Why not try writing about the emotions and memorable memories you find in small everyday events in a way that will resonate with the reader? Learn the basics, from how to use manuscript paper to how to find a theme, and have fun writing.

[Lecturer] Mr. Toyoizumi Go (Deputy Director of the Japanese Poetry and Literature Museum, resident of Kitakami City)
His main activities include serving as a judge for Ma Cheri's Mini Essay Award (2010-2013), a judge for Morioka Tanka Koshien (2013-), and an editorial committee member for the Tohoku Modern Literature Dictionary. He will be in charge of this course from 2021.

[Dates] May 28th, June 11th, June 25th, July 9th, July 23rd (5 sessions in total) Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm
[Tuition fee] 12,000 yen (first payment)
[What to bring] Writing equipment [Capacity] 10 people (registration will close once capacity is reached)
[Application] Please apply to the Memorial Hall by Sunday, May 25th.
