2022/1/30 Kitakami Sakura Hall   899 Views

A new narrative performance in which the discourse of three Iwate citizens is performed in "Oral" without writing a script.

Actors and musicians will become a new storyteller, telling "your story" living in Iwate to you in the audience.

"Living and Culture in Snow Country" Story: Satoshi Onodera (Nishiwaga Town Snow Country Culture Research Institute)

"Modern master craftsmanship and outstanding technology" talk: Takaki Chiba (AT Service Tohoku Marufuku Motor Co., Ltd.)

"Inheritance of Devil's Sword Dance and Face Carving" Story: Shunichi Yaegashi (Iwasaki Devil's Sword Dance Preservation Society)

"Narrative art festival" because it is "Iwate, the country of literature". In the Kitakami program, we will cover the experiences of local people related to Iwate's "nature," "industry," and "entertainment," and produce a completely original performance "Oral History Theater," in which the actor plays the story. To perform.

Listen carefully to someone's story, and convey it to someone else … The "distance between people" that is becoming more and more widespread due to the development of digital technology and the new corona epidemic, on the live stage With the power of expression, I will slowly regain it.
