[DOMA Exhibition] "Iwate's Rivers and Fishing Culture"
This exhibit introduces the traditional Morioka fishing rod, "Morioka Fishing Rod," and the Morioka-style Nagashi Kebari, which utilizes the current of the river, as a "culture of reading the flow of the river." Joint research between Iwate University and the Prefectural Museum will begin in 2024, and the results of this research will include visualization of the optimal flow for floats, records of the manufacturing process, and newly discovered materials.
