[DOMA Exhibition] "Rivers and Fishing Culture of Iwate"
This exhibition introduces the "Morioka-zao," a traditional Japanese fishing rod from Morioka, and the "Morioka-style drifting fly fishing," which utilizes the river's current, as a "culture of reading the river's flow." Since 2024, Iwate University and the Prefectural Museum have been conducting joint research, and the exhibition will showcase research results such as visualization of the optimal flow for floats, records of the manufacturing process, and newly discovered materials.
