[Sunday, August 3rd] The 5th Genki Mori Mori Festival

The North Japan Material Distribution Cooperative Youth Division will be holding the 5th Genki Forest Festival, a forest and forestry awareness event for children and students, using funds from the Iwate Forest Creation Prefectural Tax.

This is an event where you can see, experience, and learn about the work of trees and mountains.

At the event, we will be offering demonstrations using forestry machinery, experiences such as tree climbing and log cutting, and booth exhibits by machinery manufacturers, so we look forward to seeing you there.

Other events planned for the event include chainsaw tree-felling demonstrations and parent-child woodworking classes.

There will also be a stamp rally with the chance to win prizes.
