Concert Caravan PLUS!!
Let's go see the music!
The "Concert Caravan" began in 2002 and 2005 when the late world-renowned conductor Seiji Ozawa and the late world-renowned cellist Rostropovich held concerts around the prefecture with the aim of nurturing young musicians and allowing people who do not have the opportunity to experience live music to easily enjoy classical music.
This mini concert has been held every year since then, with the attendance of Iwao Terasaki, representative of the Iwate Philharmonic and artistic director of our museum, as a legacy of Rostropovich's words, "I hope the caravan will continue forever."
This year we will also be having a concert in the hall! Please come and enjoy the beautiful sounds of the instruments!
