MORIOKA ARTS TRAVERSE Morioka Tour Performing Arts Festival Exhibition: "Gathering the light, gathering the wind/Arakawa Kensuke"
Kensuke Arakawa, a design engineer from Morioka City, has created warm digital works that capture people's signs and movements in real time, convert them into sound and light, and gently project them into a space.
This time, Arakawa conducted new research on Iwate Prefecture and revisited the various handicrafts and nature of Iwate in Iwate Town, Towa Town, and Morioka City.
The theme of this work is the "light" and "wind" that I felt there, and I present a digital installation that quietly captures the changing times inside the former Ishii Prefectural Residence.
