MACHIYART2025 Everybody Morioka

This is the seventh time the event has been held, and we are accepting submissions of paintings, prints, and photographs that express Morioka.

This is an open exhibition that creates a place where people can encounter art works and enjoy "art" and "Morioka" together.

Eligibility: Residents of Iwate Prefecture

Works being sought: Paintings, prints, and photographs that express Morioka

Work size: 2L (12.7 x 17.8cm) to F6 (31.8 x 41cm)

Number of points: Up to 2 points per person

Exhibit fee: Free

Submission period: November 8th (Sat) to 14th (Fri), 2025. Please submit your works directly to Morioka Machiya Monogatarikan.

Please bring your own. (Reception hours: 9:00-18:30)

*You can also specify a delivery date (must arrive within the acceptance period) and send the item by prepayment.

Exhibition period: Saturday, November 22, 2025 – Sunday, December 14, 2025

Location: Morioka Machiya Monogatari Museum, main building, library storehouse, 1st floor, etc.
