～Raijinzan Onigiri Walk in Kitakami～

Grab some rice balls and go on a fun hike with your kids!

This mountain (Raijinsan) has a name that makes you want to dance.

A 187m high mountain located in Kuroiwa, Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture

While looking at the trees, grass and flowers (and occasionally avoiding animal poop)

If you keep climbing, you'll reach the top!

Let's eat the rice balls we made ourselves at the top of the mountain!

<Schedule for the day>
1. Make rice balls 2. Go to Raijinyama (about 20 minutes)
3. Let's eat rice balls. 4. Descend the mountain. *We will proceed even if it rains lightly.

At Tsunoko's Atelier, we also value playing in nature! We do not overlook your child's curiosity, particularities, efforts, or interesting ideas, and we encourage them even in the smallest of things. This will help them develop self-confidence and take the next step on their own!

What to bring: Drinks, rice ball container, rain gear, etc.

*We will prepare the rice here (rice provided by Matabei-san!)
*Children: 2 small rice balls, Adults: 1 rice ball *Ingredients are pickled plums and salted kelp (You can bring your own rice ball ingredients)
*You can climb in regular sneakers or boots (soft ones).

There are no models or correct answers when it comes to play, so if you create an environment where you can leave it up to children, they will develop an interest and curiosity in various things and have fun, while accumulating experiences and hands-on activities.
