Children's Cafeteria – Experimental Camp
— Participation wanted —
◆ About 10 children + accompanying adults, totaling about 6 families ◆
◇ The purpose of the Children's Dining Hall is to nurture a rich heart that, if there is a loaf of bread in one's hand, naturally wants to share it with others; it is a training ground for the heart through food, where we hope that children will grow up to naturally feel considerate of others, such as "This is delicious, so try it…" or "Let's all eat this…"
◇ <Experimental Camp>: This is a trial camp at Shokudojo for young space scientists who dream of "migrating to Mars."
In the movie "The Martian," astronauts left behind on Mars grow organic food using leftover potatoes and excrement. It's basically analog.
◇ Let's use the National Iwate Mountain Youth Exchange House as a base shelter and have a pretend cooking session.
The menu includes Wankosoba Gokko, stewed spaghetti, and more.
