Morioka City Archaeological Museum Buried Cultural Property Investigation Materials Exhibition “Excavating Morioka 2020 Survey Bulletin”
We will exhibit and explain the latest results of excavation surveys of historical sites and archaeological sites in Morioka City conducted by the Morioka City Ruins Manabukan in 2022.
Main ruins: Nitanda ruins (Higashiyama: Jomon period storage pits, medieval moat ruins), Minzen Nakajima ruins (Nishimimae: Heian period pit building ruins, ancient roadside ditches ruins, medieval to early modern period pillar building ruins) ), Abedate Ruins (Abedate Town: Medieval Moat Remains), National Historic Site Morioka Castle Ruins (Uchimaru: Dismantling of stone walls of Sannomaru, Ruins of Honmaru Palace, etc.)
