Morioka City Predecessor Memorial Museum 15th Morioka Furumachi Name Exhibition "Sannohe Town Kaiwai"
"Morioka's Furumachi Name Exhibition" is an exhibition that highlights the old place names (old town names) in Morioka and introduces the history of the town.
This time, which is the 15th time, we will take up Sannohe Town Kaiwai. Sannohe Town is the earliest open town in Morioka Castle since the Nanbu clan moved his castle to Morioka. The town name is derived from the birthplace of the townspeople because people who moved from their former residence of Sannohe (now Sannohe-cho, Sannohe-gun, Aomori Prefecture) lived there. In this exhibition, we will introduce the history of this Kaiwai and its ancestors through materials.
In addition, the curator in charge will explain the exhibition in relation to the exhibition on the following schedule.
