Morioka Museum of Archeology Buried Cultural Property Survey Material Exhibition "Reiwa 2nd Year Survey Bulletin to Excavate Morioka"
At the Archaeological Site Learning Center, which is a buried cultural property center in Morioka City, excavations were conducted at eight historic sites and archaeological sites in the second year of Reiwa. We will exhibit and explain one aspect of the new history of Morioka that was revealed by the latest excavation results.
Main exhibition ruins: National historic site Morioka Castle Ruins (Uchimaru: Honmaru Goten, Sannomaru Ishigaki in the Edo period), Araya Site (Nagai: Village in the Nara / Heian period), Shimonagabayashi Site (Tsushida: Crowd burial mound in the Nara / Heian period)
