We will hold a small festival focusing on "demons" in the important traditional buildings preservation district of Kanegasaki Town.

Saturday, January 30

From 10:00 to 15:00 Making a demon mask

⇒ Create an original mask by painting or pasting materials on handmade demon-like papier mache. (Participation fee: 500 yen)

11: 00-12: 00/13: 00-14: 00 Demon's old story

⇒ This is a special edition of the demon of "Old Story Time" at Kanegasaki University of the Arts. (Free participation)

From 14:30 to 16:00

⇒ Members of the Tohoku Youkai Cultural Research Center and the Mysterious Youkai Conference will talk freely about demons. (Free participation)

January 31st (Sun)

10: 00-15: 00 Demon Market

⇒We will open handmade demon goods, crafts, demon books, etc. We are also looking for new store openings. (Store opening fee: 300 yen)

15: 00-15: 30 Devil's Sword Dance Dedication

⇒Kanegasaki Rokuhara Devil's Sword Dance will be dedicated as the finale of the Devil's Sword Festival. (Saisen)

Parking There is no parking lot at the venue. If you come by car, please use the Shiraito Machinami Exchange Center No. 2 Parking Lot or Kanegasaki Town Hall.
Access A 15-minute walk from Kanegasaki Station on the JR Tohoku Line. It is a few minutes walk from the Japanese and Western Ecru and the Samurai Yashiki Omatsuzawa family (unauthorized use of the parking lot is prohibited).
