Kanegasaki Harmful Demon Festival
We will hold a small festival focusing on "demons" in the important traditional buildings preservation district of Kanegasaki Town.
Saturday, January 30
From 10:00 to 15:00 Making a demon mask
⇒ Create an original mask by painting or pasting materials on handmade demon-like papier mache. (Participation fee: 500 yen)
11: 00-12: 00/13: 00-14: 00 Demon's old story
⇒ This is a special edition of the demon of "Old Story Time" at Kanegasaki University of the Arts. (Free participation)
From 14:30 to 16:00
⇒ Members of the Tohoku Youkai Cultural Research Center and the Mysterious Youkai Conference will talk freely about demons. (Free participation)
January 31st (Sun)
10: 00-15: 00 Demon Market
⇒We will open handmade demon goods, crafts, demon books, etc. We are also looking for new store openings. (Store opening fee: 300 yen)
15: 00-15: 30 Devil's Sword Dance Dedication
⇒Kanegasaki Rokuhara Devil's Sword Dance will be dedicated as the finale of the Devil's Sword Festival. (Saisen)
