FY2025 "Hometown Giant Tree and Famous Tree Observation Event"
The "Furu" project aims to promote greening activities by introducing the town's precious trees and allowing visitors to come into contact with large and famous trees.
We will be holding an observation event for giant and famous trees in the village.
This is a popular annual observation event where you can enjoy the magnificent giant trees and famous trees that are close to you, along with explanations from the instructor.
Participation is free, but please note that if the capacity is exceeded, a lottery will be held.
Call for participants for the "Hometown Giant Tree and Famous Tree Observation Event"
- Date and time: Saturday, November 1, 2025, 9:00 AM to 3:20 PM
- Meeting place: Kuzumaki Town Hall (Kuzumaru) parking lot, meet at 8:45
- Observation location: Giant and famous trees in Kuzumaki Town (by bus)
- Participation fee: Free (please bring your own lunch)
- Capacity: 20 people (If the capacity is exceeded, participants will be selected by lottery)
- Lecturer: Professor Emeritus of Iwate University, Ryoji Hashimoto
- How to apply: Please write the address (postal code), name, age, occupation, and phone number of all participants on a return postcard by October 21st (Tuesday) (must arrive by this date).
