Dramatic Expression Workshop Facilitator Training Course
Although southern Iwate Prefecture is dotted with cultural facilities, including halls run by local governments, the fact that it is a production and supply area and given the region's size there are very few universities and vocational schools makes it difficult for an art market to form, and it is difficult for artists and professionals to be nurtured and settle there.
Therefore, for the people in charge of each facility and government,
The challenges in promoting culture and the arts are: 1) There is no one to ask to plan or carry out projects (workshops, outreach, etc.) aimed at promoting culture and the arts or collaborating with other fields; and 2) There is no sharing of information such as contact details of artists and experts.
In order to address these issues, we will hold training courses for local residents to become facilitators for creative workshops, and will also compile a list of those who complete the courses and share it with cultural facilities and local governments.
We hope to develop talent among artists and arts and culture enthusiasts living in the area (or neighboring areas) who can plan and conduct expressive workshops and outreach programs, and by sharing information about this talent, we will be able to help each facility and local government plan and develop independent arts and culture outreach programs.
