The 1st "New Farmers Fair in Iwate" will be held in 2024!

This is the largest event in Iwate prefecture, providing information on starting a farm to people who want to try their hand at farming.

In addition to hearing from farmers, agricultural corporations, prefectures, municipalities, and agricultural-related organizations in the prefecture will be available to provide individual consultations regarding farming, job opportunities, agricultural experiences, etc. Participate in the fair and make your dreams come true in Iwate!

If you are currently looking for work, this will count as job-seeking activity for employment insurance purposes (certification can be obtained at the Hello Work Morioka booth).
